RBC Weekly Newsletter 1/25/19

As everyone is well aware, we are in the middle of a severe flu season. There are many who are affected.  We have attendees who are especially susceptible- people with compromised immune system, some elderly and our children. While we appreciate everyone’s desire to be in worship and participating in the life of the church, we would ask during this time that we would all use great wisdom with our own health to determine whether we should be around others. If you are ill, or have been ill recently please use good judgment regarding your exposure to others. Hand sanitizer stations are available around the church for your convenience as well. Sunday services are available through our church app and are posted early in the week. Videos of service are available on Channel 22 in Raymond.  Be in prayer for many who are struggling through this winter season, and thank everyone for watching out for the health of all

Sanctity of Life Our church will be participating in the baby bottle benefit to help support the CareNet Pregnancy Center. Pick up a bottle after church from Wanda Molligi on January 20th and fill it with your spare change or bills. Baby Bottles will be due back by February 17th.

Winter Sermon Series- “The Forgotten God”

Pastor Francis Chan in his book, “The Forgotten God” presents the case that many churches, even if they would not say it’s true, have forgotten God in their worship and practice by neglecting the person and practice of the Holy Spirit. Is this true for each of us? Could this be said about our church? Do we live and minister in such comfort that we have eliminated the need of God’s Spirit? Would we even notice His absence?

1/27- “Afraid of Answering the Door”- Luke 11:9-13

NEW PARKING LOT: God has blessed enormously with the purchase of the land and God has been faithful through you, His People! But coming up with a plan was just the first step.  Now comes the task of planning and paying for the new parking lot needed, once started it must be completed. Giving is an act of worship so please continue to prayerfully consider how and if you are able to help fund the new parking lot as we move forward.
