Month of November: “Thanks for the Grace” ~ There are many reasons we have to  give thanks. People, life, but rarely do we think about giving thanks for grace. In this season of Thanksgiving, can we take the time to focus on the grace that God provides for us each day.

11/24/19: “Thanksgiving Praise Sunday” and Paul Ohlin” Psalm 100:4-5

THANKSGIVING SUNDAY SERVICE:  November 24th is Thanksgiving Sunday. We will be asking people to speak publicly and share how they are grateful for God’s presence in their lives. Please bring a word of praise or thanksgiving to share as part of our morning worship

“Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations” (Psalm 100:4-5).

THANKSGIVING SUNDAY OFFERING:. This Sunday and next Sunday we ask our members and friends to give above your normal giving for a special Thanksgiving offering. The proceeds of this year’s Thanksgiving offering will go towards Leah Unger’s mission to provide clean water and a medical help to the girls in Uganda. Leah’s goal is to raise $50,000 by her birthday in January, and currently with her sister Abbie and her parents have already raised over $31,000 for this ministry. So on Sunday November 24th, and Sunday December 1st please consider making a donation and mark it “Thanksgiving Offering.” Thanks to Leah and her family for modeling in a very practical way Jesus’ love for others.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL:  9:00am in the Great Room.  Paul & Diane Ohlin who are RBC sponsored missionaries working in South Africa with United World Mission will be visiting. The Ohlin’s will speak at Adult Sunday School and will be giving us an update during service. Please join us.

Phil & Jen Wilson  of AMG International, Guatemala will be visiting on December 8th.  Please join the Adult Sunday School at 9:00am in the Great Room for a Missions Update.

CHRISTMAS DRAMA: It’s that time again for our annual Free Christmas Drama, our gift to the community. This year the RBC Players will perform “Rented Christmas, The Musical” by Norman and Yvonne Ahern, Produced by Special Arrangement with Pioneer Drama Services, Inc. The drama will be performed on Friday and Saturday evenings, December 13th and 14th at 7:00pm and Sunday December 15th at 2:00pm.  The story begins as a lonely businessman walks along in town and feel the excitement and love of Christmas that is in the air. He remembers past Christmases with its happiness and love. He then spots a shop sign that reads “We Rent Anything”. He has an idea and he enters into the shop. Come and find out what John Dale decides to do…There are tickets available to hand out to friends, family and people you don’t know yet. Pick up your tickets today at the Welcome Center. CARE PACKAGE MINISTRY: Fall care packages are being sent out before Christmas to college age young adults and military. Please let Marion know if any addresses have changed and if available the new addresses for the care packages to be shipped to.  Also if there are college students or Military you would like to add to our Prayer Request and send a care package to please provide the name, school/branch of Military and address information. Thanks.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES:  are due back no later than the morning of November 23rd and they will be having a packing party to pack up and get the boxes ready to ship on Saturday November 23rd at 11:00am in the Great Room. These shoeboxes are a way to show God’s love to a child that feels lost and alone.  Not only does the child get a shoebox, but they get love and hope.  This shoebox is the opportunity for others to let the children know about Jesus.  Many of these children in turn teach their families about Jesus.  Many accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  What an impact you can make on lives with a simple shoebox. Michelle has included a link to Samaritans purse for helpful tips, stories, and further in depth information about OCC. MENS BREAKFAST: Mark your calendars for the next Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, November 23rd at 7:30-9:00am. Our Guest Speaker is Frank Reynolds from Candia. Frank is a retired Pastor and a current missionary to Africa. Join us as it will be a great morning.

LADIES YANKEE SWAP AND POT LUCK – There will be a Ladies Christmas Yankee Swap and Potluck event on December 7th at 6:00pm at RBC Great Room. Ladies are asked to bring a $10.00 wrapped gift.  This will be a pot luck and a signup sheet will be at the Welcome Center.  We must have a minimum of 20 ladies sign up or there will be need to cancel this event so please join us. SONSHINE COMMUNITY TABLE: We have had consistent numbers at the Sonshine Community Table over the past year(s), which is a blessing, but with Fall here and Winter fast approaching we find that we need many more helpers. Do you have an hour and a half  of time to spare on every other Monday night?  Two teams that rotate every other week are compiled of 35+ volunteers to shop, prepare, cook, set up, serve and clean.  If you are interested in helping out on a regular basis or as needed, please let us know – we would be glad to have you!  To do this, contact Mark & Kathy Hassenpflug or Lynn Breeze to discuss details or signup.


HONOR FLIGHT NEW ENGLAND:  If anyone knows of any WWII or Korean War Veterans that have not made the Honor Flight trip yet, please encourage them to apply.  Their website is: honorflightnewengland.org   or email them at honorflightnewengland@gmail.com or you can call them at 603-518-5368 for more information. We are in a race against time ~ together we can give these Heroes the recognition they deserve.

SEACOAST FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP: Providing peer support to adult family members with a loved one afflicted by Substance Use Disorder.  2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Sharing resources and hope in a safe and confidential environment. Support Group will be held at the:

THE DERRY LIGHTHOUSE ~ OFFERING CONFIDENTIAL SUPPORT…IN THE STORM OF ADDICTION (DRUGS & ALCOHOL).  Monday’s 6:30pm-8:00pm held at First Baptist Church, 44 East Broadway, Derry NH (corner of Crystal and Broadway).  They can be contacted at 603-432-3482.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE: The Red Cross is holding a Blood Drive here in the Great Room Friday, December 6th  from 12:00-5:00 p.m.  You can register online at http://www.redcrossblood.org. The American Red Cross has a critical need for blood. Right now, blood donations are currently being distributed to hospitals faster than they are coming in. Donations are urgently needed now to help ensure blood types don’t go missing. Please consider giving the gift of life during a critical time of need.


Reverb Update!! We were excited to bring our Youth to Reverb. We had 7 non church students join our group. We had one student make a decision, and many students hearing the Love of Christ for the first time. The students had a lot of fun. We thank you for your prayers!

TROUBLESHOOTING THE APP: Anyone with an Android phone and have noticed that you cannot get into the current sermons please try the following. Try a hard refresh. While in the app, go to the menu (horizontal bars upper left), and press and hold the refresh icon (circle with arrows bottom left) for 10-12 seconds until a message says it needs a few moments to sync. Give it about 10 minutes to sync, then get out and go back in to the app and this should allow you to get into the current information.
