PARKING LOT: The new parking lot is up and running and we encourage its use.  Please be reminded that anyone using the Long Hill Road Extension exit of the parking lot to please use caution when exiting.  This is a new exit and people in the area are not used to seeing vehicles coming out in that area.

A special thank you to Paul Dallaire and all involved who worked diligently in the completion of the new parking lot. Great job to all!

Month of December ~ Advent Series: “Choose Joy”  

12/22/19:- Fourth Sunday of Advent – “Joy Unwrapped” The anticipation is great. The house is ready. The maelstrom of shredded paper has begun. Are we ready for the release of joy into our lives? (Luke 2:8-20).

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL:  9:00am in the Great Room.  Please note that there will be no Adult Sunday School starting 12/22/19 through 1/5/20. Adult Sunday School will resume on 1/12/20.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE: Join us on Christmas Eve for our family friendly candlelight service at 6:00 p.m. It will be a special time for family and friends to come together and celebrate the birth of Jesus.

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT: Saturday, January 11th 6:00pm, there will Family Movie Night, popcorn and drinks will be provided. Come and have a blast with us.  Sign-up at the Welcome Center so we can plan!  If you have any questions please contact Becky DeConto or Tami Cole.

MINISTRY CLUSTER MEETING:  Please mark your calendars, our next Cluster Meeting will be Wednesday, January 15th at 7pm in the Great Room. A representative from each ministry should be represented.  Volunteers and anyone wishing to attend are welcome.

The Rockingham County Department of Corrections is conducting its annual appeal for wholesome games to be delivered to the inmate housing blocks in time for Christmas. The needed games are new Puzzles and Playing Cards. If you would like to help, please bring in new, unwrapped gifts (e.g., Scrabble, Risk, Monopoly, Uno, Checkers, Chess, & Puzzles) by Dec 20th and leave at the Welcome Center. NOTE: Due to increased security, games cannot have any wooden boards or metal containers – inexpensive versions are best. Also needed are new boxed Christmas Cards, juvenile and adult  They are also looking for help in funding special programs to better prepare inmates for return to society. Their goal is to keep the recidivism rate down by building godly lives. Financial donations need to be addressed to the RCDC Chapel Fund.


There is going to be a brief Impact Adventure (VBS) Meeting held immediately after service for all VBS Volunteers. If you are a volunteer or thinking about volunteering for the upcoming VBS please plan on attending this brief meeting on January 12thPlease contact Tara at  Tara123abc@comcast.net or 603.300.0797 if you have any questions.

WILD GAME DINNER: Many volunteers are needed to help with our Wild Game Dinner on January 23rd  at 6pm. A signup sheet is at the Welcome Center. Door Prizes will also be needed. It’s a great time to pick up a bargain before or after Christmas for an outdoor minded person

SONSHINE COMMUNITY TABLE FAMILY BREAKFASTJanuary 4th at 8:30am in the Great Room.  Please join us. All are welcome.

SONSHINE COMMUNITY TABLE: We have had consistent numbers at the Sonshine Community Table over the past year(s), which is a blessing, but with Fall here and Winter fast approaching we find that we need many more helpers. Do you have an hour and a half  of time to spare on every other Monday night?  Two teams that rotate every other week are compiled of 35+ volunteers to shop, prepare, cook, set up, serve and clean.  If you are interested in helping out on a regular basis or as needed, please let us know – we would be glad to have you!  To do this, contact Mark & Kathy Hassenpflug or Lynn Breeze to discuss details or signup.


Rockingham VNA & Hospice will be offering Bereavement Support Groups that meet once a week, for 6 weeks, from January 27th-March 5th, 2020.  A Monday morning group will be held in Epping from 10:30-12:00 and a Thursday evening group will be held in Exeter from 6:00-7:30.  These groups are free to the public.  The morning group will meet at the Epping Regional Health Center, 212 Calef Highway in Epping and the evening group will be held  at 4 Alumni Drive, in Exeter on the campus of Exeter Hospital.  Minimum enrollment is 4 participants.  For more information and to register, please call Jane Oldfield-Spearman, MSW, at 603-772-2981.  Drop-in grief groups are offered at Epping Regional Health Center on the 3rd Monday of every month from 3-4:30 and at 4 Alumni Drive, Exeter, on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 6:30-8:00pm.  Registration is not required for drop-in groups.

HONOR FLIGHT NEW ENGLAND:  If anyone knows of any WWII or Korean War Veterans that have not made the Honor Flight trip yet, please encourage them to apply.  Their website is: honorflightnewengland.org   or email them at honorflightnewengland@gmail.com or you can call them at 603-518-5368 for more information. We are in a race against time ~ together we can give these Heroes the recognition they deserve.

Christian Aftercare Ministries is urgently looking for the following donations: Winter coast, large towels, small refrigerators, coffeemakers, shoes, socks, jeans, slacks, boots, pots & pans, bedding (sheets, blankets).  For more information about  donations and where to drop off please contact 603-669-5090.

SEACOAST FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP: Providing peer support to adult family members with a loved one afflicted by Substance Use Disorder.  2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Sharing resources and hope in a safe and confidential environment. Support Group will be held at the:

THE DERRY LIGHTHOUSE ~ OFFERING CONFIDENTIAL SUPPORT…IN THE STORM OF ADDICTION (DRUGS & ALCOHOL).  Monday’s 6:30pm-8:00pm held at First Baptist Church, 44 East Broadway, Derry NH (corner of Crystal and Broadway).  They can be contacted at 603-432-3482.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE: The Red Cross is holding a Blood Drive here in the Great Room Friday, January 3rd from 12:00-5:00 p.m.  You can register online at http://www.redcrossblood.org. The American Red Cross has a critical need for blood. Right now, blood donations are currently being distributed to hospitals faster than they are coming in. Donations are urgently needed now to help ensure blood types don’t go missing. Please consider giving the gift of life during a critical time of need.

TROUBLESHOOTING THE APP: Anyone with an Android phone and have noticed that you cannot get into the current sermons please try the following. Try a hard refresh. While in the app, go to the menu (horizontal bars upper left), and press and hold the refresh icon (circle with arrows bottom left) for 10-12 seconds until a message says it needs a few moments to sync. Give it about 10 minutes to sync, then get out and go back in to the app and this should allow you to get into the current information.

We received a call regarding an elderly woman in her seventies who lives in Raymond and going through chemotherapy. We have been asked if we know of anyone who would be willing to help with snow removal, driveway, walkways.  The family is willing to pay someone, but does not know anyone in Raymond that could help. If you know of someone, please give the office a call for all the details to make arrangements.

PLEASE NOTE: On Sunday’s at 10:25am the Great Room doors will be locked for safety purposes.  If you arrive late for service you will have to enter through the Sanctuary doors.  Thank you for all for your understanding.

Please make sure the doors are locked if you are the last to leave any of the buildings either on Sunday’s or after any events.

Please be considerate of those who are in attendance during service time, if you need to have a conversation with a person(s) either before or after Greeting Time please meet in the Foyer if service has started, it would be greatly appreciated.
