In the United States, Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress. Happy Flag Day.

Today: June 14th at 8:00pm the local Scout troops will be holding a Flag retirement Ceremony.  If you have flags that need to be properly disposed of you can drop them at the Public Works office, The VFW or the American Legion.

“Our Experience in Uganda” Sunday, June 16th at 9:00 am RBC Great Room. The Uganda Team (Mike, Sandy, Leah and Abby, Sarah, Carolyn and Mark, Paulette, Paula) would love to have you join them as they share their experience of visiting with the girls and staff of ChildVoice Uganda! Come see their pictures ~  hear their stories!

BAPTISM CLASS ~ Pastor Kevin will be holding a baptism class on Sunday June 16th for any interested in learning more about believer’s baptism, or wanting to be baptized.  There is a signup sheet at the Welcome Center for anyone interested in being baptized

MINISTRY CLUSTER MEETING:  our next Cluster Meeting will be Wednesday, June 19th at 7pm in the Great Room. A representative from each ministry should be represented.  Volunteers and anyone wishing to attend are welcome.

CHILDRENS DAY: we will be celebrating Children’s Day with our Guest Speaker, Joe Shea, on Sunday, June 23rd. After the service please join us in celebrating our high school and college graduates as we serve cake and join them in fellowship.

JULY 4TH PARADE & FESTIVITIES: July 4th is fast approaching. As of now this is the last year for the 4th of July activities that the area Church’s take care of so let’s show the community the Love of Christ in a huge way! We urgently need people to sign up for help with the hot dog preparation and serving. Please consider helping – sign up at the Welcome Center or see Sandy Unger

GRADUATIONS: We will be honoring those who will be graduating High School or College in 2019 next Sunday, June 23rd. Please help us know who they are by leaving their name at the Welcome Center or emailing the Office.

THIS HOPE LEADING THE SERVICE at RBC on Sunday, June 30th  at 10:30am. This Hope is a five member male group who sing a unique blend of a cappella and accompanied music. People of all ages will enjoy the intricate harmony and fun style of their music! All are welcome – bring friends. A love offering will be taken after the concert.

VBS: Boys and girls start your engines! Get into the race for the Eternal Crown! Drive! A FREE – 4-day event, packed with fun racing games, funny skits, cool crafts, rocking music and awesome Bible time, all in a safe, loving environment. VBS: There will be a VBS Meeting for all VBS Volunteers on the following days and times.  If you are a volunteer for the upcoming VBS please plan on attending one of the meetings.  Both meetings will have the same content just one is in the morning and one is in the evening for convenience and time management for all the volunteers.  Thank you to all for your service to this Ministry!

SONSHINE COMMUNITY TABLE: We have had consistent numbers at the Sonshine Community Table over the past year(s), which is a blessing, but with Summer fast approaching and vacations happening we find that we need many more helpers. Do you have an hour and a half  of time to spare on every other Monday night?  Two teams that rotate every other week are compiled of 35+ volunteers to shop, prepare, cook, set up, serve and clean.  If you are interested in helping out on a regular basis or as needed, please let us know – we would be glad to have you!  To do this, contact Mark & Kathy Hassenpflug or Lynn Breeze to discuss details or signup.

OUTDOOR CLUB is pleased to announce the date of the annual canoe and kayak trip.  Please join us on Saturday July 13th for a family friendly adventure on the Contoocook River just outside Concord, NH.  The group will meet at 9:15 am at the Church.  Canoe and Kayak rentals are available from the launch site. There is a $3.00 launch fee per boat. Families can depart the beach area any time for the easy paddle downstream to the launch site.  Rentals are returned no later than 5pm.  Please sign up at the Welcome Center.  See you on the water!


Third Tuesday Thrive Kit Sewing (June 18th ) 12 – 5 pm. Join us in assembling feminine hygiene kits for ChildVoice. These kits are distributed to adolescent girls in impoverished regions where ChildVoice works.

New Hampshire Food Bank Fresh Food Pantry **IMPORTANT NOTICE PLEASE SHARE**

Due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot control, this Wednesday (May 29th) @4:30pm was their last Fresh Food Pantry here at the NH Food Bank. 

HONOR FLIGHT NEW ENGLAND:  If anyone knows of any WWII or Korean War Veterans that have not made the Honor Flight trip yet, please encourage them to apply.  Their website is: honorflightnewengland.org   or email them at honorflightnewengland@gmail.com or you can call them at 603-518-5368 for more information. We are in a race against time ~ together we can give these Heroes the recognition they deserve.

Christian Aftercare Ministries is urgently looking for the following donations:

PRAYER WALKING every Saturday at 6:30am at Veterans Park, Manchester NH

KEEP HOPE ALIVE:  The 1st & 3rd Wednesday at 7:00pm of every month thereafter there will be a Family Support Group in the Office Upstairs Classroom which will provide support to adult family members with a loved one affected by Substance Use order. THE DERRY LIGHTHOUSE ~ OFFERING CONFIDENTIAL SUPPORT…IN THE STORM OF ADDICTION (DRUGS & ALCOHOL).  Monday’s 6:30pm-8:00pm held at First Baptist Church, 44 East Broadway, Derry NH (corner of Crystal and Broadway).  They can be contacted at 603-432-3482.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE: The Red Cross is holding a Blood Drive here in the Great Room Wednesday, June 19th  from 1:00-6:00 p.m.  You can register online at http://www.redcrossblood.org. The American Red Cross has a critical need for blood. Right now, blood donations are currently being distributed to hospitals faster than they are coming in. Donations are urgently needed now to help ensure blood types don’t go missing. Please consider giving the gift of life during a critical time of need.

TROUBLESHOOTING THE APP: Anyone with an Android phone and have noticed that you cannot get into the current sermons please try the following. Try a hard refresh. While in the app, go to the menu (horizontal bars upper left), and press and hold the refresh icon (circle with arrows bottom left) for 10-12 seconds until a message says it needs a few moments to sync. Give it about 10 minutes to sync, then get out and go back in to the app and this should allow you to get into the current information.
