9:00am Sunday Adult and Youth Sunday School will not be held during the summer months, There will a Bible Study to help the Youth grow through the Summer and that will be on Tuesday’s 10:00am-12:00pm at Matt’s Home.   If you have any questions on the Youth Bible Study, please see Matt for more details.

JELLY MAKING CLASS: Pat Morin will have a Jam making class July 27th at 9:00-11:00am in the Great Room Kitchen to make jam for the Welcome Kits. All are welcome to join. All supplies are provided. There is a signup sheet at the Welcome Center.

NURSERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We are in need of adult and teenager volunteers for the Nursery during the morning service. Sign up at the Welcome Center if you would like to help. If you have any questions or want to find out more information, please email Tara Swist or give the Office a call.

MINISTRY(IES) INFORMATION

MISSIONS: Third Tuesday Thrive Kit Sewing  Thrive Project day will be held on July 23rd 12 – 5 pm instead of July 16th. Join us in assembling feminine hygiene kits for ChildVoice. These kits are distributed to adolescent girls in impoverished regions where ChildVoice works.

MINISTRY LEADERS: Annual Reports are due no later than August 16th.  Please email them to marion@raymondbaptistchurch.com.

SONSHINE COMMUNITY TABLE: We have had consistent numbers at the Sonshine Community Table over the past year(s), which is a blessing, but with Summer fast approaching and vacations happening we find that we need many more helpers. Do you have an hour and a half  of time to spare on every other Monday night?  Two teams that rotate every other week are compiled of 35+ volunteers to shop, prepare, cook, set up, serve and clean.  If you are interested in helping out on a regular basis or as needed, please let us know – we would be glad to have you!  To do this, contact Mark & Kathy Hassenpflug or Lynn Breeze to discuss details or signup.

SONSHINE COMMUNITY TABLE FAMILY BREAKFAST:

The next Sonshine Community Family Breakfast will be held on August 3rd in the Great Room.

MENS BREAKFAST: Mark your calendars for the next Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, August 17th at 7:30-9:00am. Join us as it will be a great morning.

Tami Cole is coordinating a BUTTERFLIES, BEES & BIRDS EVENT for Saturday, August 17, from 10am to 2pm at Riverside Park. Some things she will need, if you can help please let either the office or Tami know:
  • People to man the tables, help with crafts, games, etc.
  • White tee shirts, assorted sizes
  • Fabric paint, several of each color—orange, black, yellow, purple, blue, green and brown
  • Wet wipes—for easy clean up
  • Cases of water
  • Bags to put crafts in to go home
  • Assorted supplies from a craft store (Bee & bird design sponges, fabric paints, bird house paint & supplies)

Tentative schedule

10am—welcome in stage area, give out information about the park, the day’s events, etc.

10:30—Monarch information & walk

11:15—Bees information/presentation

11:45–Bird demo/presentation or build a bird house/bird feeders

12:15—lunch available to purchase, water free and available all day

12:30-2pm—crafts & games

2pm—Close & thank you for coming

If any ministry would like to host a table to give out information about church/community events and man a craft which will be a Caterpillar/butterfly that says I am a new creation in Christ please let the office or Tami Cole know.  This is a great opportunity for RBC to provide information and meet people within the Community. Thanks.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

HONOR FLIGHT NEW ENGLAND:  If anyone knows of any WWII or Korean War Veterans that have not made the Honor Flight trip yet, please encourage them to apply.  Their website is: honorflightnewengland.org   or email them at honorflightnewengland@gmail.com or you can call them at 603-518-5368 for more information. We are in a race against time ~ together we can give these Heroes the recognition they deserve.

Christian Aftercare Ministries is urgently looking for the following donations:

Winter coast, large towels, small refrigerators, coffeemakers, shoes, socks, jeans, slacks, boots, pots & pans, bedding (sheets, blankets).  For more information about  donations and where to drop off please contact 603-669-5090.

PRAYER WALKING every Saturday at 6:30am at Veterans Park, Manchester NH

KEEP HOPE ALIVE:  The 1st & 3rd Wednesday at 7:00pm of every month thereafter there will be a Family Support Group in the Office Upstairs Classroom which will provide support to adult family members with a loved one affected by Substance Use order. If you have any questions about this program please email Ann & Tom O’Keefe at keephopealive603@gmail.com.

THE DERRY LIGHTHOUSE ~ OFFERING CONFIDENTIAL SUPPORT…IN THE STORM OF ADDICTION (DRUGS & ALCOHOL).  Monday’s 6:30pm-8:00pm held at First Baptist Church, 44 East Broadway, Derry NH (corner of Crystal and Broadway).  They can be contacted at 603-432-3482.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE: The Red Cross is holding a Blood Drive here in the Great Room Friday, August 9th  from 12:00-5:00 p.m.  You can register online at http://www.redcrossblood.org. The American Red Cross has a critical need for blood. Right now, blood donations are currently being distributed to hospitals faster than they are coming in. Donations are urgently needed now to help ensure blood types don’t go missing. Please consider giving the gift of life during a critical time of need.

SUMMER YOUTH GROUP;  WEDNESDAY:Youth Group will be every Wednesday Night through the summer!! 6-8pm; Ministry Center.

Summer Series lessons will be the Study of Proverbs.

TROUBLESHOOTING THE APP: Anyone with an Android phone and have noticed that you cannot get into the current sermons please try the following. Try a hard refresh. While in the app, go to the menu (horizontal bars upper left), and press and hold the refresh icon (circle with arrows bottom left) for 10-12 seconds until a message says it needs a few moments to sync. Give it about 10 minutes to sync, then get out and go back in to the app and this should allow you to get into the current information.
