    Surfing the Crest (Sermon 7/16/17)
By keeping his eyes on Jesus, Peter was able to do something amazing. If we lock our eyes on Jesus, he will lead us as well.
    - What can we ask Jesus to lead us through as a family?
    - How can we keep our eyes focused on Him?
    - Will we take time this week in our home to make sure we are focused on Jesus?

Soaking Up The Sun (Son) (Sermon 7/9/17)

People go to the beach for many reasons. Swim, play, relax or sit and soak up the sun. Too much sun is not good for us at the beach. The same should not be true for being with God’s Son.

Watch Out for the Waves (Sermon 7/2/17)
One of the great benefits of being together is that we are all helping each other, and helping the church to grow up as followers of Jesus Christ, so that we don’t get knocked over.

When The Going Gets Tough, Do I Get Going? (Sermon 6/25/17)
Don Sutton is a pitcher you don’t hear a lot about. He wasn’t flamboyant. He didn’t win many major awards. He pitched through six presidential administrations, four trades, and yet won over 300 games in his career. He did it simply by doing consistently what he was trained and called to do. Are you equipped and ready to walk through the long haul of “getting it done” in your life?

So Three Men Walk Into A ….. (Sermon 6/18/17)
In culture and literature, we are told that to be a man you had to be tough and go it alone. Many buy in to the stereotype, and in doing so set themselves up for failure. As men, or “men to be” are you preparing yourself for success or failure? Who have you invited in to be a part of your story, and what qualities should these people embody?

Recovery From “They” To “We” (Sermon 6/11/17)
A national survey on Drug Use and Health estimates 21.5 million Americans aged 12 and older battled a substance abuse disorder in 2014. Those who struggle with substance abuse and are in need of treatment are not just, “those people over there” but live close by us. As such, we are called to help fight this national epidemic together. Healing requires emotional, physical and spiritual support, and yet the last piece is the one most often overlooked.

Hope For Recovery ~ Taking A Personal Inventory (Sermon 6/4/17)
Summer is great for many things. Rest, renewal, housecleaning. Yard sales are the opportunity many take to examine and discard what they have added to their household from the prior year, that they now know they really didn’t need. Hope for recovery starts by taking an honest inventory of the things in our heart, which are holding us back and not helping us move forward.

    Things Remembered (Sermon 5/28/17)

Over 1.1 million men and women have died to guarantee our freedom as Americans. On this Memorial Day, and this Ascension Sunday, as followers of Jesus, we also need to pause and remember the far greater gift given to us in Christ.
