Third Sunday of Advent

JOIN US ON THE THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT

December 16th at 10:30am – Isaiah 42:1-4 and Luke 10:26-28

Everyone has their own philosophy as to how they should live their lives. For some, it is simply a matter of surviving the day. Jesus’ birth heralds for us a way to live that not only satisfies ourselves, but helps others as well. Jesus lives the life of a servant as a model for each of us. He lived to serve each of us by His life, death and resurrection. In doing so, He modeled a love for God and others that He calls us to duplicate, and in doing so, bring hope to others.

We light the third candle of Advent this Sunday to remember that Jesus came to be a servant so we could be servants to God and others, and in doing so, find fulfillment in our lives.
