The Outdoor Club at Raymond Baptist Church is pleased to host a lifesaving CPR and first aid training session led by experienced instructors Samantha Carpenterie and Jean Larrabee from the Raymond Ambulance Service. This course is a certification course specifically designed to refresh those who have previously held a CPR/First Aid certification in the past. The class will be held Thursday July 24th from 6pm to 9pm at Raymond Baptist Church. Students who successfully complete the course will receive updated certification cards. The cost of this course is $50 per student with cash being preferred, checks accepted. All funds will be paid directly to the instructors.

RBC OUTDOOR CLUB: CANOE AND KAYAK DAY ~ July 27th
3:00pm to 5:00pm followed by a BBQ.
The Outdoor Club is pleased to invite paddlers for a fun day on Pawtuckaway Lake on Sunday, July 27th, 3:00pm-5:00pm, hosted by Mountain Road Trading Post (MRTP). Space is limited to 30 boats, so signups are required. Call Marion at 603-895-2859 or email her at marion@raymondbaptistchurch.comcastbiz.net to reserve your spot. Bring your own boat (no fee), or rentals are available for a discounted rate of $35 for solo craft or $50 for tandem craft. Rentals: People who rent boats will fill out waivers and pay at MRTP (68 Mountain Rd, Raymond, NH) then carpool and park along upper Jampsa Trail. Advance reservations are recommended but not required. Rental reservations made in advance through Marion will be pre-staged at the launch. Launch location: 46 Jampsa Trail, Nottingham, NH (home of Troy & Krista Brown). Parking is limited. People who bring their own boat will park at the Brown’s while space is available. The event runs 3-5 pm. Choose your own route around Horse Island and back, or explore the many nearby coves and islands. Bring your own hydration. You can eat with a group or solo on an island or at the Brown’s house. Then, paddle around more or hang at the Brown’s house for swimming and yard games (pickleball, corn hole, ping pong, Frisbee golf, etc.). Event ends at 5:00pm.
