Dear Church Family,
As we are all aware, this has been a long difficult year for all. In trying to guide the church through this year we have tried to follow some basic guidelines to help all of us. Early on the Elder Board decided we would follow health guidance as issued by both the CDC and The NH State Department of Health and Safety. We also determined that any guidance we would put forth to the congregation would be governed by Jesus’s own command, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Even though it might be personally inconvenient, we would act to protect the vulnerable around us, to care for them as one would hope they would care for others. Throughout this past year we continued to monitor health guidance, and community transmissions. Because of new guidance now being issued, and the rates of community transmission at the present levels, we are now recommending the following changes to our current policies. Please note that as conditions change, these may again change for the protection of all.
Covid-19 Policy for all Church Activities
Masks for asymptomatic people are now at the personal discretion of the individual.
Masks are still suggested, as per State guidance, for those in high-risk categories of either catching or transmitting the virus. High risk categories include; non-vaccinated individuals, immunocompromised individuals, and others with health-related conditions.
Masks for children are at parents’ discretion. Parents are asked to inform the children or youth leader of your decision for your child.
Social distancing is still recommended.
Currently no buffet style, or “serve yourself” food service.
Currently any food prepared or served must be by vaccinated people.
If any case of COVID 19 occurs, the church family will be notified as appropriate.
Any guidance is subject to change based upon conditions.
As stated, this has been a long year. As leaders we want to encourage all of us to look ahead and not dwell on past conversations. May we all be respectful to each other and treat each other with great grace as we begin to regather. Throughout this year God has been working in the life of our church. There may be many you may or may not recognize as we return. At our most recent Elders’ meeting, we all expressed an optimism for what God has in store in this new chapter of ministry for all of us. Thank you to all who have prayed and have taken this journey with us.

Starting Sunday July 4th for all church activities
- Masks for asymptomatic people are now at the personal discretion of the individual.
- Masks are still suggested, as per State guidance, for those in high-risk categories of either catching or transmitting the virus. High risk categories include; non-vaccinated individuals, immunocompromised individuals, and others with health-related conditions.
- Masks for children are at parents’ discretion. Parents are asked to inform the children or youth leader of your decision for your child.
- Social distancing is still recommended.
- Currently no buffet style, or “serve yourself” food service.
- Currently any food prepared or served must be by vaccinated people.
- If any case of COVID 19 occurs, the church family will be notified as appropriate.
- Any guidance is subject to change based upon conditions.
As stated, this has been a long year. As leaders we want to encourage all of us to look ahead and not dwell on past conversations. May we all be respectful to each other and treat each other with great grace as we begin to regather. Throughout this year God has been working in the life of our church. But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” Matthew 19:14
Dear Church Family,
Praise the Lord, for He is our Awesome God. I am so thankful for His saving grace in our lives and how He has given us strength to move through the challenges of the last year, renewing us with His strength to do His will for His Glory. God is so good. Let me take a few moments of your time to share how God has been working in the Children’s Ministry.
During the pandemic, the Children’s Ministry team was sharing the Good News through Zoom Time with Jordan, Snail Mail Club, countless notes of encouragement and more. As we opened to in person Club 2:52 we had a consistent number of 7 children attend each Sunday. Since May of 2021, we are increasing our numbers weekly, with an average of 15 to 20 children attending Club 2:52. June 6th we opened our nursery for infants – 3-year-old and are excited to have 3 children registered. God is so good.
Impact Adventure Camp, Maker Fun Factory, will be July 12 – 15. Preparations have been happening since last summer. We are excited that we can meet in person and have about 40 children, ages 4 – completed 6th grade, from our community registered. We have a few more spots available and can’t wait to see how God moves through the lives of all who participate.
Plans for Children’s Ministry Events continue to happen, and the team is looking forward to all the adventure God has in store for our community. What does this mean for Raymond Baptist Church? It means, God is on the move, and we need to be willing to move with Him. I love this quote regarding Mathew 19:14, the scripture posted at the top of this letter, “Kids have access to Jesus. Jesus intentionally loved on and blessed kids. He didn’t take time out of His work to love kids, it was His work.” It is our responsibility to come alongside families to help them raise up God’s most precious gifts…Children.
How can you help?
- Pray for God’s will to be made clear as this ministry grows.
- Encourage the Children’s Ministry Team, Families and Children
- Volunteer to be part of this exciting ministry. The more volunteers who serve, means the more we can change the world around us for God’s glory.
Blessings,

RBC Weekly Newsletter (5/28/21)
This Sunday we commemorate Memorial Day. In memory of many; In honor of all, Thank you.
On Monday, May 31st the Office will be closed for observance of Memorial Day.
For all our regular attendees and members, we would like to ask that, if it is possible, to sit closer in a row closest to the front of the pulpit, if there are seats open and available, when you choose your seating. This would help us seat people who are new and checking in as well as people coming in at the start of service so that there is less of a disruption to everyone, as well as make a newcomer feel more comfortable as we look to seat people. This would be a tremendous help to the Ushers if they can seat more towards the back of the Church after service starts. Thank you for your help with this, it is very much appreciated!
Since young children are not able to be vaccinated yet and the CDC is still recommending that unvaccinated people need to wear masks indoors, after much prayer and discussion, we are going to keep our present protocol of wearing masks indoors. This will keep children safe through the end of the school year, prevent the need to only have some people masked, and keep people who are more at risk safer. This protocol will be re-evaluated when children are out of school towards the end of June. We feel this protocol is the fairest solution for all at present.
THIS WEEK: 05/30/2021: ~ “Show Me Your Hands” – (1 Peter 3:8-16) Do we live with hands open, or clenched towards others?
NEXT WEEK: 06/06/2021: ~ “Don’t Visit the Old Neighborhood” – (1 Peter 4:1-11)
Impact Adventure Camp (VBS) is in need of people who can cut and sew felt or fabric teddy bears by June 30th. We prepare for 60 campers, but many hands make light work. If you don’t sew but are willing to cut the felt/fabric that would be helpful, too. The Felt and Fabric will be supplied, thread also if needed. If you are willing to help please contact Tara Swist through email tara123abc@comcast.net or you can call or email the Church Office at marion@raymondbaptistchurch.com or 603.895.2859 as soon as possible. Thank you!
