Summer Sermon Series “I Have a Question” We all have them at times, questions we wish we could, or do ask God. These questions are not new to us, but go back years. The prophet Habakkuk may have some answers for all of us.

SONSHINE COMMUNITY TABLE: There will be a SonShine Community Table Meeting, this Sunday right after service; for any who are interested in serving in this ministry. It will be a brief 10-15-minute show of interest and explanation of what it is so people can consider and pray about joining this ministry. People who served in the past and any new people interested should attend. If you have any questions, please contact Mark & Kathy Hassenpflug.

At a time when grocery dollars don’t go as far as they used to, the SonShine Community Table is available at Raymond Baptist Church to serve dinner and welcome anyone who would like a prepared meal or companionship. The meal is free and is a gift of the church to our community

OUTDOOR CLUB MINISTRY UPCOMING EVENT: Praise God we are supposed to see some sun Saturday – Great day to enjoy a Canoe and Kayak Day J There are Spots Still Available – Sign Up Today!

Canoe and Kayak Day:  The Outdoor Club is pleased to invite paddlers on a canoe and kayak trip on the Contoocook River in Concord, NH.  This family friendly event is planned for July 24th, meeting 9am at the Raymond Baptist Church, or 10 am at the launch site 9 Horse Hill Road, Concord, which is the site of the Contoocook River Canoe Company. The planned route includes about 4 miles of paddling in very gentle river conditions.  Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at Daisy Beach and plenty of hydration.  Canoe or kayak rentals are available and should be made individually in advance with Contoocook River Canoe company.  Those launching their own water craft will owe a small fee of roughly $5 per vessel. Reservations are required so the group size and launch location of each party is determined.  Please respond to this email or contact Marion at 895-2859 to reserve your spot on this fun filled family event, please indicate whether you will be meeting us at the Church or if you will meet us at the location.  See you on the water!

2021 SUMMER FUN EVENTS FOR YOUTH!

This summer we will be hosting Youth Group twice a month, on Sundays. The meetings will be held at different homes from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, unless otherwise specified.

July 25th   ~ McBride’s Home ~ Pool party (cancelled due to impending weather forecasted for Sunday.)

Club 2:52:  3 Adults and 3 Teen volunteers

Rotating Schedule 1 time every 4 to 6 weeks Sunday morning during service

Responsibilities: assist and participate with a small group of children while Teacher instruct them throughout the morning.

Nursery:  5 Adults and 3 Teen volunteers

Rotating Schedule 1 time every 4 to 6 weeks Sunday morning during service

Responsibilities: Care for infants – 3 year olds during Sunday service. 

Impact Club 2:52 Summer – July 4th – August 29

During Sunday Service 10:30 – 11:30 am

Preschool – 5th grade

Nine lessons help children explore the Fruit of the Spirit and discover how to grow God’s fruit in their lives.

SMALL GROUPS: Have you thought about joining, creating a Zoom Study, meeting in person or thinking of a creative way to study or start a small group? Lives are transformed when people meet together to pray, to study, and engage in fellowship. Summer is Here and Fall is fast approaching! COMMUNITY AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION

Friday August 6th from 11:00-1:00 (while supplies last) Comcast Parking Lot 676 Island Pond Rd. Manchester Please enter on East Industrial Park Drive. The NH Food Bank will bring truckloads of food to distribute to families and individuals. This is a drive thru event. All items will be distributed to you in your vehicles. this event is open to all regardless of where they live! Each car/family will receive a prepacked box of fresh food. All clients must have a vehicle, there is not a walk-up option.

NEW LIFE CHURCH EVENT: Journey Through the Wilderness: Raising Godly Kids in an Ungodly world

On Saturday, September 11th, 9:00am-4:00pm, Tori Ferrari of Bloom Teen Challenge will give a workshop for parents, grandparents, and concerned individuals, who want to help today’s children and teens navigate a dangerous culture. The cost of the workshop is $15 per person or per married couple. Lunch is included in the cost of workshop. Please go to the below link to sign up.

RVNA & Hospice is very excited to announce the return of IN PERSON grief and loss groups back to our community. We are thrilled to be able to come together again, especially such a difficult and trying time. There are two groups starting in September 2021, and both are located in Exeter on our campus, with the choice of an evening group or a daytime group.

Fall 2021

6 WEEK BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUPS

DAYTIME GROUP

Mondays, 2:00pm – 3:30pm

Sept. 13th – Oct. 18th

Location:  Exeter Hospital, 5 Alumni Drive, Exeter NH (Conference 1 North)

EVENING GROUP

Wednesdays, 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Sept. 8th – Oct. Oct. 13th

Location: Medical Building, 4 Alumni Drive, Exeter, NH (On the campus of Exeter Hospital) (Conference Room #2)

These six-week interactive support groups provide an opportunity for members to meet in a safe, supportive environment to explore the grieving process and share with others who are coping with the loss of a loved one.

All groups are free and open to the public. 

Minimum enrollment is 4 participants for each group, and a maximum of 7 participants for the evening group due to our social distancing policy. Please be able to commit to all six sessions.
