YOUTH GROUP:

Youth Group is now in the Ministry Center. Students will be required to wear masks at all times while at Youth Group. Hand sanitizer will also be available at all times. The building will also be fogged every week to kill any possible germs left behind, and protect from Covid.

Schedule: Sunday’s 3:30pm – 5:00pm 5th – 12th Grades

We began Youth Group inside this week. Things went well and all the students complied with the mask use. They were able to go outside because of the warmth and play some games. Sunday we talked about our purpose based off of God’s two greatest commands and how that differs from what the world tells us our purpose should be.

This week we will be discussing our place in the world and why God puts us where we are.

Sunday, November 29th ~ There will be no Youth Group, Happy Thanksgiving

Please Note: We will not be providing snacks at this time. Also surfaces will be wiped down between group movements.

Thank you for your flexibility. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

MISSIONS UPDATE(S)/NEWS

Our Missions Team exists to create an awareness of missions and missionaries resulting in a commitment to pray, to give, and to go. Get to know the lives and ministries of RBC missionaries, discover ways to personally support them, and increase our passion for world missions. For more information, email missions@raymondbaptistchurch.com.

Paul and Diane Ohlin work with United World Mission supporting missionaries in language acquisition. They pass on this prayer request from fellow missionaries Zach and Leigh…” While the virus is still very present, we have been hearing whispers of India opening back up. As of right now, international travel is still closed and we are uncertain as to when we can return. If things open up soon, we could go back in January. Please be in prayer for His will to be done, on His time!”

From Paul and Clare Hudson SIMS USA, Website: https://missiondoc.com: Claire has been recovering from recent surgery and complications following the surgery. Starting in January, Paul and Claire will begin work at a slower pace as they prepare for retirement at the end of the year.

Wendy Hinzman serves in Paris, France with Avant Ministries. She is presently in the U.S, living in West Virginia. She is helping to provide care for her father who suffers from dementia. Wendy asks for prayer for her friends and contacts in Paris, who she stays in contact with remotely, as they face the coronavirus.

Tim and Cristina Goosen serve with Gospel Mission if South America in Gualeguaychu, Argentina starting new churches. They reported on 10/7 that the government had just granted churches permission to reopen. They are asking for wisdom to organize church services and protection of those attending the services.
