RAYMOND BAPTIST CHURCH NOTES

“This is my command: Love each other” (John 15:17).

“God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and to continue to help them” (Hebrews 6:10).

Praise God.  It is with joy and happiness that there are a lot of church family, some new, that are starting to return to in-house Church, we have missed you! This is largely due to vaccines being provided to those that are in the current CDC categories that want one, and some have already received both vaccines! Just as a reminder to all that RBC is still following CDC Guidelines which require social distancing and masks even for those vaccinated.  We want everyone to continue to be safe and stay well during this pandemic. We check often for changes in the guidelines and as soon as changes are made we will let everyone know of the changes.

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS – SPRING FORWARD: Remember to set your clocks forward an hour Saturday night, March 13th. Mark your calendars! This is a good time to replace your batteries in your smoke detectors!

RBC TABLE TALK ~ Feeling a little isolated, unconnected? We have all been through a lot these past months. We have all felt some relationships slipping away. We want to give us an opportunity to begin the process of reconnecting. We want to invite you to join Pastor Kevin on a zoom call for a short time of reflection from scripture, and then an opportunity to just talk with each other. We can talk about getting your garden ready, talk about all the projects you have been doing around the house, talk about a spiritual question you may have, we can just talk with each other and pray. The only two rules; no conversation about politics, no conversation about COVID ~ life is more than these two things that have been defining people for too long. Bring your lunch for a time to begin to reconnect with each other.

STEPHEN MINISTRY ~ STEPHEN MINISTRY ~ WHAT DOES THE LOGO OF STEPHEN MINISTRY MEAN? The logo consists of a cross and circle, together with a broken person and a whole person. The broken person stands behind the cross, symbolizing the brokenness in our lives as a result of our sin. The whole person stands in front of the cross because it is through the cross of Jesus that we are made whole. The circle symbolizes both the wholeness we receive through Christ and God’s unending love for us. If anyone has any questions or you would like more information on this upcoming ministry, please contact Paula Chouinard at mpchouinard@comcast.net or Donna Burgess at edndonnaburgess@comcast.net
