It has been brought to the attention to the office that some of our emails are ending up in the Spam/Junk folders and some are coming through regularly. Please check your Spam/Junk folders if you have not received any emails from the church by Thursday. The Newsletter is emailed on Thursday mornings so you have at least one email a week that comes through possibly more but the newsletter definitely comes out once a week so if you do not receive chances are the emails are going into your Spam/Junk folder. FELLOWSHIP COFFEE HOUR: We are starting to plan re-opening coffee hour on Sunday mornings. We are still looking to see If anyone is interested in helping to set up, make coffee, etc.  please give the office a call or email. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Drama: If you’re ready to use your gifts and want to be a part of an amazing ministry, then come join our team! These are the different areas in this ministry where you can serve:

Props: If you’re one who likes to find things then finding props for our dramas might be for you!

Costumes: If you enjoy sewing and designing costumes then we really could use your help.

Stage Crew: Now here’s a fun one! You get to dress in black and run around in the dark! What could be more fun than that? We are always looking for help with scene changes.

Acting: If you enjoy being quite the character then acting might be for you! This is one of the areas of our ministry that requires an audition.

Lighting: We are always looking for people to man the lights during a production.

Set Design: If you enjoy painting scenery or you’re gifted with a hammer then set design might be for you.

SONSHINE COMMUNITY TABLE: Held Every 2^nd & 4th Monday of the month at 5:30pm (Great Room) Next Dinner is July 25^th. SonShine Community Table is to serve dinner and welcome anyone who would like a prepared meal or companionship.  We are limited to 50 attendees so you must RSVP prior to attending by either emailing marion@raymondbaptistchurch.com or calling the RBC Office at 603-895-2859.

CURRENT BIBLE DISCOVERY SESSIONS

SMALL GROUPS: Have you thought about joining, creating a Zoom Study, meeting in person or thinking of a creative way to study or start a small group? Lives are transformed when people meet together to pray, to study, and engage in fellowship. Call if interested in leading or signing up for a Fall Group or thinking of leading one in the Fall.

Every Other Tuesday, at 7:00pm in the Great Room, Mitch & Vera Losak will be leading a Couples and Co-Ed Adult Bible Study by Dr. Jeremiah “Romans – The Gospel of Grace”.  This study will be held every other Tuesday.

Men’s Group 6:00am Tuesday Bible Study. Location varies, contact Les Houston for meeting location 603-785-2491.

RBC MINISTRY INFORMATION

Dear Ministry Leaders: It’s that time again!

The 2021-2022 Annual Reports are due no later than August 1, 2022.  Please keep in mind when preparing your Annual Report to be in thought and prayer.  This is accountability for your Ministry(ies) so your budgets could be affected if reports are not submitted.  If anyone has any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to give the office a call.

RBC DEEP SEA FISHING!  (Sponsored by the Men’s Ministry at Raymond Baptist Church.) All family members, all ages are invited. The Men’s Ministry is arranging a deep sea fishing trip. We are planning for Saturday July 23^rd. An all day trip starts at 7:00am Sharp and we are back at 5pm. The cost is $85 for adults and children under 12 are $50.00. If we get 10 folks on the list, the cost is $75 per adult. We will meet at Gauron’s in Hampton Harbor, by the bridge. Otherwise some can meet at the Church if anyone needs a ride or to carpool over.  If you would like to sign up please call or email Marion at marion@raymondbaptistchurch.com or signup at the Welcome Center.  Everyone of all ages is welcome to participate. Update: We have had over 10 people sign-up so the normal fee of $85 has been reduced to $75 except for those eligible for other discounts. Following are items that you may want to bring based on Barry’s several years of experience in attending the fishing trip: Bring sun screen, bring sun glasses, wear a baseball hat (sun shade), consider your own sandwiches in a cooler with drinks or snacks, sweater in case needed!

Canoe and Kayak Day: The Outdoor Club is pleased to invite paddlers on a canoe and kayak trip on the Contoocook River in Concord, NH.  This family friendly event is planned for July 23^rd, meeting 9am at the Raymond Baptist Church, or 10 am at the launch site 9 Horse Hill Road, Concord, which is the site of the Contoocook River Canoe Company. The planned route includes about 4 miles of paddling in very gentle river conditions.  Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at Daisy Beach and plenty of hydration.  Canoe or kayak rentals are available and should be made individually in advance with Contoocook River Canoe company.  Those launching their own water craft will owe a small fee of roughly $5 per vessel. Reservations are required so the group size and launch location of each party is determined.  Please respond to this email or contact Marion at 895-2859 to reserve your spot on this fun filled family event, please indicate whether you will be meeting us at the Church or if you will meet us at the location.  See you on the water!

For the month of August 2022, Raymond Baptist Church Food Pantry has been selected to receive a $1 donation for every Bloomin’ 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker sold at the store located at 2 Freetown Road, Raymond NH. Look for the bouquets with the red circle sticker pictured here to make sure it is a Bloomin’ 4 Good Bouquet that will benefit our organization upon purchase.

Drop-In Grief Support Group

To be held: The 2nd Monday of Every Month Starting on Monday, July 11th, 2022 (This is an ongoing group held 1x a month)

Time: 2:00pm-3:30pm

Location:  Epping Regional Health Center, 212 Calef Hwy, Epping, NH 03042

Please wear mask for entry into building. The drop-in grief support group is for those interested in exploring the grieving process in a safe, supportive environment. Sessions are free, no registration is needed and participants are not expected to make an ongoing commitment to attend.
