WE’RE SEARCHING FOR VOLUNTEERS

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. (1 Peter 4:10).

What an incredible quote from William Carey, a missionary who travelled to India to share the salvation message.  As a church, we too have the responsibility of sharing the message of Christ with those in our community. What better way to do that then to reach the next generation? Would you consider being a part of the Impact Children’s Ministry?

Needs:

12 Nursery Volunteers to provide safe, secure, nurturing, clean and efficient care to our children. Your ministry responsibilities include playing with the child or directing his play, reading to him, praying for each child, exhibiting Christ-like patience and love. Time Commitment: 1 Sunday Service every 4 to 6 weeks.

12 Preschool/Elementary Club 252 Assistants to provide safe, secure, nurturing, clean and efficient care to our children. Your ministry responsibilities include assisting the classroom Bible Teacher with classroom management and engage children in active participation activities. Time Commitment:  1 Sunday Service every 4 – 6 weeks.

Teen Volunteers responsibilities include assisting the classroom Bible Teacher with nursery, preschool and or elementary age children in active participation activities. Time Commitment:  1or 2 times Sunday Service every 4 – 6 weeks.

Preschool or Elementary Bible Leaders: This organized storyteller brings the Bible to life for groups of preschool or elementary age kids through interactive and engaging experiences, then helps kids apply the word of God to their own lives using The Gospel Project curriculum. Team teaching for age groups:  preschool – Kindergarten, First and Second, Third and Fourth. Time Commitment:  1 or 2 Sunday Services per month

Prayer and Encouragement Crew responsibilities include praying for the Impact Children’s Ministry team, children, and families, and send a note of encouragement to team members every other month. (Postage will be supplied)

To volunteer, please complete the volunteer registration using this link: https://vbspro.events/p/4b8b7d.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN THE WORSHIP TEAM, SPECIAL MUSIC OR TEACH TEAM? VISIT THE WORSHIP ARTS TEAM IN THE FOYER FOR MORE INFORMATION, THEY WOULD LOVE TO TALK TO YOU!

Drama

If you’re ready to use your gifts and want to be a part of an amazing ministry, then come join our team! These are the different areas in this ministry where you can serve:

Props: If you’re one who likes to find things then finding props for our dramas might be for you!

Costumes: If you enjoy sewing and designing costumes then we really could use your help.

Stage Crew: Now here’s a fun one! You get to dress in black and run around in the dark! What could be more fun than that? We are always looking for help with scene changes.

Acting: If you enjoy being quite the character then acting might be for you! This is one of the areas of our ministry that requires an audition.

Lighting: We are always looking for people to man the lights during a production.

Set Design: If you enjoy painting scenery or you’re gifted with a hammer then set design might be for you.

We have a lot of fun serving God through drama. If you are interested in joining the team, please contact Lisamacri@comcast.net

Would you like to join the Worship Team?

Here is what we do!!! To produce quality music and worship that glorifies God and encourages seekers and believers to draw closer to Christ during worship and praise.

Could it be you? We continually seek those who wish to use their talents and gifts in the Worship Ministry. You may be a singer or play the instrument, the Lord wants and needs both. Those who volunteer for Worship have schedules change and because of that volunteers are needed all the time. We currently need musicians and worship singers. The more we have the better.

When would you be needed?  The Worship Team rehearse with others on Tuesday nights to practice for Sunday’s worship and to have our own worship and fellowship during that time. Sunday morning, we have worship rehearsal prior to Sunday service and then lead the congregation with corporate worship. If you think this may be you, please contact me. In Christ Love Ken Swist, Cell- 978-375-5958; E-Mail- keyofcandg@comcast.net

Special Music:  It’s time to dust off your instrument and blow out the cobwebs.  Or, if you like to sing, start your shower rehearsals!  Contact kimwhitten@comcast.net

Tech:  Are you tech savvy?  Do you want to share your gift with others?  The tech team could really use your help!

WHAT IS THE TECH TEAM?

The Tech Team is comprised of three parts: Sound, Lights, and Media. Currently we are in need of volunteers in all three areas. Each part of the tech team serves closely with the worship and drama teams, attending practices to plan out and prepare for each service. If you like computers, music, gadgets, buttons or knobs then this team is for you. This is a great way to get involved once a month and serve without missing the regular service. It is also great way to get involved and get to know people. You don’t need any experience; we can train you. Join us to create the weekly service experience.

SOUND

Do you love music? Do you crank up your stereo? Then we have a job for you! Serve with the sound guys and control our sound board and high-tech sound equipment. This is an excellent skill to learn, and we have teachers available who are both patient and caring as you progress to becoming a full-fledged sound tech.

MEDIA

Do you love computers, video, or photography? This is the team for you! Our team members’ main job is to control everything you see on the screens during the services. They pick the photos and videos that go with the songs and sometimes even use photos that they have taken themselves. We use a program called Proclaim to set up the slide shows, videos and even sound effects or songs on the computer. Videos and pictures often enhance the worship experience by transforming the stage into a sunset or a beautiful mountaintop vista.

This team is in need of volunteers and is a great way to get involved behind the scenes while still having a large impact on the service. If you are interested in helping in this area, please Contact Ed Burgess by E-mail or stop by the tech booth after service and ask us about how you can get involved.
