Forget God’s Will (Sermon 2/17/19)
“If I only knew God’s will for my life I would do it.” “I wish God would show me what to do.” There are very few people in history who have ever known all of God’s will for their lives from beginning to end. If we are honest, it’s easy to say we will follow God someday instead of today.

What’s In It For Me? (Sermon 2/3/19)
We talk a lot about what we love. “I love my spouse, my kids, my family.” “I love sports.” “I love pizza.” How much do we talk about how much we love the church?

Afraid of Answering the Door (Sermon 1/27/19)
Fear can motivate us, paralyze us and even cripple us in our lives. We all have some fear of something(s). Two questions:
    1. Are you afraid of what other people think of you?
    2. Are you afraid of following Jesus?

I’ve Got Jesus, I’m All Set (Sermon 1/13/19)
The Holy Spirit for many is the least understood, and the most underappreciated person of the Trinity. Many are more comfortable saying they want “Jesus with them,” but shy away from acknowledging the Holy Spirit as part of their lives.

Who Are We and Why Would I Want to Be Here? (Sermon 1/6/19)
As many are making personal plans and resolutions, as a church we need to renew our vision of who we are and where God is taking us.

Is There Life After Christmas (Sermon 12/23/18)
We all strive towards the goal of finishing the marathon of the Christmas season. When all is said and done, is there something more that we are missing? Is the birth of Jesus the final answer, or is there something more to come?

    That’s Good Enough (Sermon 12/16/18)
We all have a philosophy on how we would live our lives. For some that may be simply to get out of bed in the morning. What is your life philosophy? Is it “good enough” so that you can live with contentment?  Does the message and meaning of Christmas have any role to play on how each of us can live a life that is more than, “good enough?”

    42 (Sermon 12/9/18)
Many people at some point in their life have asked, “What’s the meaning of my life?” Why Am I here? When we feel our life has no meaning or purpose we can either wander aimlessly, or wander into self-destruction. With Jesus’ coming into the world, God helps us answer the question, “Why Am I Here?”

Mud Pies in the Slum (Sermon 12/2/18)
Different agencies have set different values on a human life. The Environmental Protection Agency set the value of a life at $9.1 million in 2010. The Food and Drug Administration, on the other hand, came up with a value of $7.9 million and finally, the Transportation Department said it was around $6 million, July 21, 2017. Many struggle with the idea that their life has no value or worth to anyone. If it has no value, then I must not matter. God says otherwise.
