Follow the Leader (Sermon 2/9/20)
Jesus calls us to be committed followers, committed disciples, and yet we can tame Jesus, and dilute our allegiance. This Lent we will look at the high demands Jesus places upon true followers and how our lives reveal our belief.

The Elephant In Our Worship (Sermon 2/2/20)
For most people when you talk about worship, the first thought is music. We can talk about cultivating our heart with God, living for God, but eventually the question most have is “Why can’t we sing what I like?” Scripture commands us to sing in worship, but how does our music reflect our hearts in worship?

Do I Live Worship? (Sermon 1/26/20)
Worship is not an event, but a lifestyle. If someone were to follow me around all day, would they say I am a true worshipper of God?

My Inside Track for Worship (Sermon 1/19/20)
Worship starts with, and is informed by my inner devotion to God. What is in me either helps me or hinders me. What should be the center of my heart if I hope to be able to worship as God intended.

    Worship (Sermon 1/12/20)
For many, our understanding and practice of worship is shaped by our preferences, culture and many other things. How much do we understand worship as practiced and modeled in Scripture?

Who Are We and Why Would I Want to Be Here? (Sermon 1/5/20)
New Year’s is the time for many to take stock of their lives, assess where they want to go and plan to make changes. This is a time for us as a church to do the same..

New Year, New You… (Sermon 12/29/19)
What are we really celebrating? What will the new year bring? Year’s end is a period of reflection and expectation. It is a time where people reflect on the events over the past year and look forward in expectation to what is to come. If we come to the opinion that our experience over this year is due to human work, good or bad luck, then there is little to be learned or assured of for this coming year. But if our reflection sees God’s hand and learns from His direction, then we can properly move forward in wisdom and hope.

    Joy Unwrapped (Sermon 12/22/19)
The anticipation is great. The house is ready. The maelstrom of shredded paper has begun. Are we ready for the release of joy into our lives?

    Joy’s Waiting Room (Sermon 12/15/19)
No one likes waiting – whether its waiting for a plane, waiting for an answer or waiting for hope. How can we best wait for the joy God wants to bring into our lives?

When Joy Leaves the Room (Sermon 12/8/19)
The holiday season is hard for many. Life can be overwhelming, especially for those who have suffered loss. God’s real and personal presence is an antidote to the suffering we face, and give a lifeline for our joy.

    Why Choose Joy (Sermon 12/1/19)
We may have heard it said, “The joy is the Lord is my strength,” but sometimes the truth is that joy is not something we choose, desire or even want.  How can we make an intentional choice of joy to get us through the holiday season? God’s call to us today is to choose joy- regardless of how far we have come, how far we have to go- we can choose joy.
