As we are all aware, COVID-19 is affecting many people, families and communities. For that reason, we are adding an additional Sunday worship service for the many people who are at risk, and for health and safety reasons, are not able to attend Sunday morning Worship Services.
Starting this Sunday, February 20th at 5:00pm we will be adding an additional Sunday service. No children’s programming will be offered at 5:00pm. This will be a MASK REQUIRED SERVICE and SOCIAL DISTANCING (6 feet) will be maintained between seating (family may sit together) to serve the needs of many in light of current conditions.
We again ask that, for the safety of others around you to please consider wearing a mask for all church activities and events.
Thanks for understanding and watching out for each other. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact the office.
We are having an INFORMATIONAL MEETING after service on Sunday, February 20th in the Sanctuary to discuss a proposal to the church from the elders to potentially change the hours of the Children’s Ministry Director. Sunday’s time will be a time to address any questions you might have. Please be in prayer for this step in the life of the church.
“Three years ago, the church took a step of faith and expanded our staff to include a part-time Children’s Ministry Director to work alongside of our Youth Director at the time. It was decided at that time to make this position a 10 hour a week commitment, with the understanding that as needs changed, the position could as well.
This month that initial three-year cycle ended, and for the past 8 months the leadership has been evaluating the needs as we look to the future. These past two years of the pandemic have been challenging in many ways, but in the challenges, God has still been at work. One of the ways is that we have seen new families come into the life of the church and make this their home. The leadership is looking towards the future of our children, youth, and families, and to do all we can to prepare a new generation of disciples of Jesus. At our upcoming business meeting on March 10th, The Board of Elders will be putting a proposal before the membership for your consideration, prayer, and input to increase the position of Children’s Ministry Director to 20 hours a week. The informational meeting will give you a chance to discuss this proposal before the business meeting so that everyone can have time to think and especially pray about this step forward.”
We are having a BUSINESS MEETING on Thursday, March 10th at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. All Members are urged to attend. All are welcome. If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to give the office a call or email.

THIS WEEK’S MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT ~ CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
(If you would like more information or would like to volunteer in this Ministry, please see the Ministry Leader, Tara would love to talk to you).
We pray especially for those you’ve called into ministry, to be leaders, teachers, discipleship and friends in our church and community. Keep God’s word fresh in their hearts, renewing and refreshing their spirit for their work ahead. May they seek your counsel daily, give them godly wisdom day by day as they tackle their designated ministry work and guide them as they give spiritual guidance to others around them… Amen.
It is our desire to come alongside parents in order to supplement their God-given task to raising their children to personally know and love Christ, and then help them live a God-centered life. As well as, to Impact the families in our communities, as we Reach, Teach and Serve by showing the love of Chris
Nursery is designed and equipped to minister to infants thru three years of age. We provide an atmosphere filled with love and laughter as our volunteers show the love of Jesus in a safe, clean kid-friendly environment.
Club 2:52 for children ages 3 – 5th grade held during the Sunday morning service. A time where children explore the Word of God through diverse learning experiences.
Impact Adventure is a fun-filled one-week program held during the summer for children in our community ages 4 thru 12. Volunteers help children learn about a God who loves them and wants a personal relationship with them. A theme-based program with Bible lessons, snack, art, music, game and more, helps children step in the Bible in a safe age appropriate way.

YARN NEEDED: Barbara Wagner from the Ray-Fre Senior Center is asking for yarn. They have a small group of women that crochet hats to give to veterans, homeless, low income people and children through New Hampshire. Last year, over 1900 hats were made and donated by the group. The cost of yarn and low donations have before a problem for the group. If anyone has yarn that they no longer use or yarn leftover from projects, it would be greatly appreciated if you could donate it to the Ray-Fre Senior Center Crochet & Knitting group. Donations can be dropped off at the Center 64 Main Street, Raymond (across the street from Long Branch Restaurant).

THIS WEEK: 01/23/2022 ~ “At the Heart of Worship”- Exodus 40:1-23
“Worship is….” Ask a variety of people, and you will probably get a variety of answers. In our individualistic culture we want “designer worship”- worship that fits me. In Exodus, God reminds people that true worship is not about them, but about Him. He alone is the center of our worship.
NEXT WEEK: 01/30/2022 ~ “The Cost of Worship”- Leviticus 6:8-30
We all have received offers with the incentive, “No cost or obligation.” We like our worship the same. God says differently. True worship involves sacrifice on our part- a giving, humbling of ourselves before and to God.
BACKGROUND CHECKS will be done in the Foyer on January 23rd before service. For all volunteers who work with the children, regardless of the program(s) please see Marion Guay for a Background Check Form that needs to be filled out and processed. Background Checks are recommended to be redone periodically and at the least every 3 years to comply with the laws of the State. Unfortunately, due to recordkeeping required we cannot accept background checks that were done by another company/firm/school. There are Forms available at the Welcome Center. Please fill out and return to Marion. (Marion can notarize them if needed).

We are not sure how we will need to do this this year due to Covid-19 restrictions, if any at that time, but we need to start the planning on this event early, we are open to suggestions but we are asking for volunteers at this time to help with this. Please give the office a call if you would/could help with this. If you would like additional information or you have questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call to discuss.
Watch for our new website coming in 2022, with a fresh new look and better functionality. You will be notified via email when this site goes live and you will be given the opportunity to access the online church directory.” Stay tuned!

THIS WEEK’S MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT ~ Youth Group
(If you would like more information or would like to volunteer in this Ministry please see one of the Ministry Leaders, they would love to talk to you)
We pray especially for those you’ve called into ministry, to be leaders, teachers, discipleship and friends in our church and community. Keep God’s word fresh in their hearts, renewing and refreshing their spirit for their work ahead. May they seek your counsel daily, give them godly wisdom day by day as they tackle their designated ministry work and guide them as they give spiritual guidance to others around them… Amen.
Mission: “Impact Teens to Impact the World”
We offer a program for teens grades 5-12 who are committed to Christ and want to get their friends hooked up with Christ too.
The goal of this team is to worship God, explore His Word (the Bible), grow stronger roots in our faith, and plan our strategy for getting the word out to our friends and neighbors.
Every other week we practice what we preach by going into our communities and inviting our friends and neighbors.
YOUTH GROUP SCHEDULE: Sunday’s 5:00 – 6:30 pm, Ministry Center
To Teach and Disciple: We want to develop authentic Christ followers. (Matthew 28:19-20) Service: We are committed to serving each other as well as the community around us. (Galatians 5:13) Building Relationships Teen Extreme Outreach: We are committed to reaching out to share the love of God with other teens. (Mark 16:15) Being an Example: We as leaders are committed to being an example to our teens so that they can be an example in their communities. (1 Corinthians 11:1).

RBC Weekly Newsletter (1/14/22)
THIS WEEK: 01/16/2022 ~ “Be Careful What You Wish For”- Exodus 32:1-14
After a miraculous deliverance from Egypt, the people of God asked for a god they could handle. What they got; they couldn’t handle.
NEXT WEEK: 01/23/2022 ~ “At the Heart of Worship”- Exodus 40:1-23
“Worship is….” Ask a variety of people, and you will probably get a variety of answers. In our individualistic culture we want “designer worship”- worship that fits me. In Exodus, God reminds people that true worship is not about them, but about Him. He alone is the center of our worship.

Over these past 18 months, God has been gracious to us as a church as we have tried to carefully walk through the pandemic. That deserves our praise.
As we are all aware the rise of COVID cases is again spreading through our communities. We are all hearing, experiencing more people in our personal lives who are now having to deal with this virus. We are now having more reports of people within our church community wrestling with this as well. As a church we have done well and do not want to step backwards at this point. So, in light of our current environment, please consider the following for this next period of time this winter.
- PLEASE be in prayer for those who are struggling with this disease, and for those who are now hospitalized in our communities, and from our church family.
- PLEASE be aware of the needs that people may now have as they may need help with transportation, care, food etc. as people may need to isolate from work and life as they struggle.
- PLEASE, if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive, PLEASE follow all current CDC guidelines for isolation, testing and masking before returning to public worship. PLEASE be responsible for contacting any with whom you may have had contact.
- PLEASE, for the safety of others around you, be mindful of our current policy on masks while attending church functions. This is not just limited to Sunday worship, but any church activities.
We have, and we can continue to help each other through these days. Thank you to all who have supported our efforts.
Watch for our new website coming in 2022, with a fresh new look and better functionality. You will be notified via email when this site goes live and you will be given the opportunity to access the online church directory.” Stay tuned!

The Women’s Ministry exists to provide situations for women to connect on a spiritual level with God and other women. This focuses on outreach, but leaves opportunities to feed and encourage our “core group” in various events.
