Reading the headlines any day of our world or our lives could cause someone to doubt the existence, or the attention of God. How can we answer when answers seem so far away? Question- “Can you recall a time when you or a friend experienced suffering or pain? How did you respond?”

    Everyone has a final authority, a “The Buck Stops Here” foundation, for his or her life. For some it is his/her experiences. For others it is his/her own beliefs. Others will claim they have no authority and want none. As Christ followers we claim our final authority is the written testimony of Scripture. How confident are we in its reliability, and do we begin to doubt when its truth is challenged?

    Most people struggle with doubt at some point in their lives. The doubt can be simple, or the doubt can be overwhelming. Barna poll of 2018 estimates that 70% of high schools students will have walked away from their faith by the time they graduate. When doubt challenges our faith, it can be devastating. As a Christ follower, is doubt ok? What causes my doubt? When doubt comes, do I allow my doubt to drive me from God, or towards him?
